Now there is an interesting question. A duck attacks by pecking with its beak, or by wrestling and neck grabbing. A horse attacks by nudging and kicking. I would have to say that supersizing a duck would make it a serious threat to a human, because a previously useless attack (wrestling and neck grabbing) becomes viable, and the pecking becomes downright lethal. Being nudged and kicked by 50 duck size horses doesn’t sound so bad.
I’m going to opt for being attacked by the horses, and cooking the duck.
Haha… This is a funny one..of course very likely to happen! Maybe 50 duck sized horses.. cus then you could pick them up… I wouldn’t like to be at the attacking end of a giant beak… imagine the mess its poo would make! 🙂
Haha love it!!!! Do you listen to Chris Moyles in the morning aherriott??!
🙂 🙂
Can I clarify what “horse” we are talking about? ….coz if we are talking about a baby horse (and this particular baby horse http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/blog/2010/apr/28/smallest-horse-in-the-world-einstein) I would have to say one horse-sized duck. Because that would just be…welll….A DUCK!!!
Incidentally if I had to be an animal I would choose a duck. They are immense. Word.

I love this question! I agree with Amy, one big duck is less scary than 50 tiny horses. Although still pretty scary! Nice one @aherriott

Horse-sized flesh-eating ducks are real! However, they are extinct, and used to live in Australia. Here’s some more about the Demon Duck of Doom: http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/extinctions/3/2 and http://australianmuseum.net.au/Genyornis-newtoni
