      Hi melissa,

Ice melts when it reaches a high enough temperature (its melting temperature). It will freeze again when it coold down to its freezing temperature. This is because the actual substance (H2O) that both ice and water are made from is the same. So the same stuff is there – the temperature just affects what state of matter it is in!! 🙂
