• Question: What is the difference between type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes?

      Hey Rachel… Good topical question!

      Diabetes is all about insulin not working properly. Insulin is a hormone made in the pancreas which regulates the amount of glucose (sugar) in the blood.

      Type 1: don’t have the any insulin from a young age
      Type 2: develop diabetes as there insulin becomes ‘faulty’ . onset typically associated with poor diet and bad health.
