• Question: what is sciences best explaination of altruism?

      Hey Tim,

      I have spent a while thinking about this and how science can explain altruism. When I first though about it it seemed really contradictory to Darwin’s “survival of the fittest” theory. However, the best explanation that I can offer is that by sacrificing ourselves we are enabling the continuation of our species and therefore altruism is logical.
