      Distilled water is pure H2O… water out of the tap contains lots of minerals and ions e.g calcium, chlorine and other things in very low concentrations.

      Distilled water is made by heating up water so it evaporates and collecting the steam and cooling it. The cooled or condensed water does not contain any of these minerals or ions. Its super pure H2O…

      Dont drink distilled water though.. our body needs the minerals and ions present in water. If we drank alot of distilled water it would pull the ions and minerals out of our body’s cells and mess us up!

      Julia is right on this one – I use distilled water all the time for science experiments where I need pure water!! 🙂
