Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach him to use google …

Seriously, my friend, I would be doing you no favours by telling you. If you type “What is the melting temperature of diamond”, the first 20 hits all give you the answer. Compare a couple, don’t just take the first answer, and if they mention where they got their information from, it is more likely to be trustworthy.

Hi aharrison! I guess I can’t spoil the lesson now by telling you the answers!! But, seriously google is a scientists best friend. I have to look stuff up all the time. It’s a fabulous skill to have to be able to pick the right keywords and find the right links to the information you are looking for. A very valuable skill indeed!!

So, I won’t spoil the surprise, but one thing I can say is the melting and evaporating temperatures are hot and hotter! Diamonds are pretty tough!
