Hi Mark. Please tell me you are just asking out of curiousity. Hangover is a combination of de-hydration and poisoning. Drinking in moderation is fine and can be good for you, but alcohol itself is a mild poison, and there are other impurities in most drinks. Drinking plenty of water whilst drinking and the next day can help. It may be better though just to accept the reminder that the body really doesn’t like having that done to it.

I agree with Drew!! You should try and keep hydrated by drinking lots of water – but really the best idea is not to get a hangover in the first place! 🙂

Not dirnking in the first place…. generally a hangover is just dehydration and lack of salts.. so nothing tea and cheese on toast wont sort!

Hello mark! Hopefully you are not look for a cure for yourself! 😉

Hangover’s are mostly due to dehydration, so the best “cure” is to drink a lot of water, particularly while you are drinking. That can often prevent a lot of the next day headaches.

Not drinking in the first place. There was an interesting article on the science behind hangovers on BBC news today if you are interested http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13798275
