• Question: I am really interested by your research and was wondering what steps you have to take when you find a cure before it can be released to the general public?

      Hey again…
For any potential drug to be released to the general public it needs to be proved it super safe and effective. This is done by ging through a series of clinical trials, which increase in importance, from testing on enzymes to testing on whole cells to testing on small organisms, to test on animals, to test on humans… If you google clinical trial stages you’ll find out alot more than i can type!

Once a medicine has been shown effective it is then down the the country’s regulating body to approve the medicine for use. Different countries have different standards and bits of paper that need too be psuhed around.. e.g in the US it’s the FDA.

Hope that helps give a general overview… you’ll find alot more on internet! 🙂
