• Question: how long would it take for the most venomous spider 2 kill a person

      Hey Paul!

      The Brazilian wandering spider is the thought to be the most poisonous spider – its really aggressive and venomous. But don’t worry its found in South and Central America so its unlikely to get you…although it does hide out in banana crates so proceed with caution!! Because spiders are not out to bite humans they usually do not carry enough venom to kill something as big as us (because its meant to kill insects) and when people are working out stats on how dangerous spiders are they have to consider how likely a person is to come into contact with them, what their behaviour is like etc. But the wandering spider actively runs around looking for things to kill instead of making a web…so all things considered its the most venomous – and one of them has been known to kill two kids – death can occur within minutes in children, but you have more chance of surviving longer has an adult.
