      Hi there. Actually, it isn’t because of different pressure due to airflow over the wing as some people think. It’s simpler than that. The wing hits the air at an angle, which pushes the wing upwards and the air downwards, just like if you throw a ball at a slanting wall, it goes off at an angle.
