• Question: Do yuo like teaching and what part of science do you like the most?

      Hi Aamarnii98. I get a real buzz from teaching. On good days, when the class is really interested, it’s like the feeling of winning a sports match. On bad days, for example if I’m doing a boring part of the marking or some administration, it’s just a boring job.

      I like applied science, like computers, the most. That’s where we take theoretical ideas and use them to do things that are useful to people. Most science in schools is theoretical, which is sometimes a shame. Learning about acid/base reactions isn’t nearly as fun as making hydrogen balloons or rocket motors.
