Ok, honest answer. I was earning a lot more money in industry, and I have had job offers to work for companies where I would earn a lot more money. I regret that – money can make some things easier. I earn enough as a scientist though, and I wouldn’t want to give up my job.

No, I don’t regret becoming a scientist as I have learnt so much and I usually enjoy what I do. In my spare time I am a science writer, writing articles for a science news company. I think that in the long term I will be more interested in doing something like that then spending time in the lab doing experiments though.

Hi princess! No I don’t. I agree with Drew, sometimes the pay is not so great and it would be easier to live if it were better. But, personally I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. I love my job! And, since we all spend so much time at whatever it is our job is, I would rather have it be something I find fun and care about =)
