      Hello again crunchiejelly! The easy answer is more than we could ever count! In our milky way galaxy alone there is somewhere between 200-400 billion stars. That’s enough for every person on Earth to name at least 10 if they wanted to! That’s A LOT of stars. Even more astounding, there are billions of galaxies in the universe, each with a number of stars comparable to our own Milky Way. So, basically their are billions and billions of stars!

      If you get a chance – take a look at the Hubble Ultra Deep Field image. In it are about 10,000 galaxies (each with billions of stars). The image comprises on area on our night sky that is about the size of a pencil tip if you hold the pencil at arms length. It is truly amazing!
